Rodeo Cheeseburgers
Serves 4
Five Ingredients
1 bag frozen onion rings
4 ¼ lb. burger patties (can be pre-formed or made from fresh ground beef)
4 slices cheese
4 buns
BBQ sauce to taste
From the Pantry
1 T olive oil
Lay your onion rings out on a sheet tray and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat. Cook per package directions in your oven until crispy. Toast your buns in the same hot oven. Set both aside.
While the onion rings cook, place your patties in large skillet over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper and brown on one side. Flip and continue cooking to your liking. Towards the end of the cook, top each patty with cheese and melt.
To assemble, lay down some barbeque sauce on the bottom bun, followed by the patty, a couple onion rings and more barbeque sauce. Serve immediately with fries or chips.
